We are well known for our excellent work with people in need, providing support to those who are affected by their own, or another person's, use of drugs or alcohol.

Young People's Worker (Stop Smoking) 37 hrs pw - Term Time Only

£15,539 pa (pro rata of £17,964)

We need someone to deliver a new young people's stop smoking service in Norfolk. You will need to be outgoing, creative and flexible; providing smoking cessation to groups and individual young people (age 16-25). You will need experience working directly with young people, understand the issues they face, especially in relation to smoking and addiction, and preferably have a relevant qualification. This position will be based in Norwich with one day a week in King's Lynn; funded to March 2012.

Young People's Worker - 20 hrs pw - £9,170 pa (pro rata of £17,964)

We are looking for someone outgoing, creative and energetic to provide education and advice about drugs and alcohol to groups and individuals. You will need experience of working directly with young people, understand the issues they face in relation to drugs and alcohol and preferably hold a relevant qualification. You will need to be able to, or willing to learn, to drive a caravan. This position will include evening work and will be based in Norwich; funded to March 2011 at present.
